When your child has a dangerous heart condition, the last thing you want is to get lost on your way to the doctor's office. Unfortunately, GPS isn't accurate enough to provide directions through the maze of Children's Mercy Hospital, so we created an app to provide a reliable map through the hospital. It provides step by step directions to anywhere in the hospital so that you and your child never get lost. While others coordinated with the hospital, I was the sole programmer for the project.

After I completed the app's development, we gave a presentation to the hospital's CTO and other officials. We were also featured on Fox and The Kansas City Star

I wrote the core app in C# with Unity due to its cross platform nature and excellent graphics libraries. So that the hospital could easily update the maps as the building changed, I also built an online interface in JavaScript and PHP to edit the map.
